Today the three departments (Us, sheppton-oneida, & Hazle Twp) that benefit from the golf tournament received our checks. The golf tournament itself raised a record breaking $24,000 in addition the Eagle Rock Community Association donated an additional $15,000.
Big news for 2021... We've added the 15K option to our lineup of events! The course is a modified 2 loop version of the 7K course. Both races will start at the same time with GUN TIME being used for over all awards, and individual CHIP TIME for age group awards.
1920 is getting it's yearly certified ladder testing and inspection done. All the ground ladders and pumps were also tested this month and certified. In addition Ringtown Valley and Sheppton-oneida took advantage of the ground ladder testing and Ringtown also took part in the pump testing.

As you know last year we did some upgrades/rehab to the station. Phase one was the landscaping change. Phase two was the lighting upgrade and hall. Well phase 3 was unveiled this morning. A memorial dedicated to those that have passed away since the start of the NWVFC that served our community.
Brush 1940 was officially placed in service Wednesday night. 1940 has a 300 gpm pump, 1200 Gallons of water and numerous hand tools. It has 3 preconnected lines which include one 1.75 and two 1" forestry lines.

Santa came early for us this year . Mid atlantic fire & air delivered our new SCBA today. We were part of a regional grant with two other departments that received the grant in 2019. We received 22 packs and 44 cylinders.

The department has acquired a Surplus Military Vehicle Through DCNR. this vehicle a 2003 Stewart & Stevenson will be converted into the New Brush 1940. The 1965 was returned to DCNR after serving the area for over 20 years!
